Discover the splendor of Australia's diverse landscapes as you admire the majestic Austrodanthonia Caespitosa.

This tall perennial grass, native to Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales, and Tasmania, boasts a tufted base with a diameter of up to 12 cm and smooth, slender stems.

Its leaves, up to 30 cm long and 1-3 mm wide, add to its elegance with a flat or loosely rolled shape, both hairy and hairless.

The ligule, a delicate rim with tiny hairs (0.5 mm long), is adorned with a tuft of longer hairs (1-2 mm long) on either side.

Thriving in clay soils and even sandy loam or loamy red earths, this versatile species can be found in a variety of communities, most notably black box and grassland environments.

Rain or shine, Austrodanthonia Caespitosa is resilient and adaptable, displaying peak growth rates.
