This species from Western Australia has proven to thrive in the eastern States.

It makes for a remarkable ornamental due to its distinctive pendant flowers that hang gracefully from the stems - a unique feature amongst banksias.

Buds of a luscious brown hue blossom into vibrant yellow flowers.

The medium-sized shrub boasts dense, verdant foliage with striking golden new growth.

It is resilient to drought and frost once established, and can tolerate coastal and windy conditions.

As banksias are sensitive to phosphorus, we recommend using a high-quality native fertiliser during feeding time.

This Banksia lehmanniana, part of the Family Proteaceae, with exquisite blooms in Spring and Winter.
