    With its distinctive purple hue, Myoporum parvifolium Purpurea Fine Leaf is a sophisticated Australian native ground cover that thrives in temperate and arid environments, making it highly drought and frost-tolerant once established. Its dense, mat-like habit grows to just 10-20 cm in height but spreads widely to 2-5 meters, making it ideal for erosion control and ground coverage. This versatile plant is native to open woodlands, grasslands, and sandy coastal areas, and can adapt to a variety of well-drained soils, including sandy, loamy, and clay types. Its delicate, narrow foliage is beautifully complemented by small, pale pink to white flowers that bloom in the spring and summer.
