Common name:  White Mallee

The White Mallee, also known as Congoo Mallee, is a Mallee that can reach heights of up to 8 m, and occasionally up to 13 m as a tree.

Its bark is smooth and white or yellow-white, with about 1 m of rough, flaky bark at the base.

This species typically grows in sandy loam and red earth on sand plains and dune fields, within shrubland habitats.

It is distributed throughout south-eastern South Australia, most of western New South Wales, and north-western Victoria.
