This species thrives in most well-drained soil types and prefers a sunny location. It is best suited for temperate regions of Australia that have lower rainfall and humidity levels.

Its open growth habit allows for the filtration of light, making it a great choice for underplanting.

It belongs to the Myrtaceae family, its cultivar name is Silver Princess. This small tree typically has a width of 4 metres and blooms during spring and winter.

Blooms during the spring and winter seasons. It can thrive in a variety of soil types, such as sandy, clay, loamy, sandy loam, and clay loam, even in poor soil conditions.

As an evergreen plant with a weeping growth habit, it requires well-drained soil and is tolerant of drought.

It is highly valued for its use as a cut flower, however, its flower color can vary from yellow to red to pink.

It thrives in a range of pH levels, from acid to neutral to alkaline, and can be planted in low maintenance gardens or used as a drought-resistant plant in areas with low water availability.

This plant also has frost tolerance once established and can attract nectar-eating birds and other insects.
