Common name: Dolomite fuchsia bush

2.5m x 2m

They have a smooth, glossy texture and a vibrant green color, occasionally with subtle hints of purple.

The petal tube boasts hues of white, blue, or a delicate pink to lilac color, enveloped in soft velvety hairs on the exterior while the interior is adorned with fine, delicate hairs. This blooms throughout the majority of the year, but it thrives most in the spring to mid-summer season.

This eremophila is commonly found in a specific region, extending easterly from MacDonnell Ranges near Alice Springs to the border with Queensland.

It thrives in sandy soils, typically over laterite or limestone, on modest hills.

This particular species is known for its persistently blooming flowers in garden settings and is remarkably resilient, with some specimens remaining in cultivation for over three decades.

Environment: With exceptional resilience to drought and frost, this Eremophila is well-suited for full sun exposure in a variety of regions.

Whether facing cold, dry, or temperate conditions, it will thrive in clay, loam, sandy loam, and well-drained soils.

Its watering needs are minimal, preferring light amounts.
