Forsythia x intermedia 'Beatrix Farrand' is a magnificent, deciduous shrub with a blooming of brilliant yellow Spring flowers, followed by noticeable green foliage. It requires full sunlight to partial shade and is tolerant of cold weather, achieving a mature height of approximately 2-3m and width of 1.5m.

Easily cultivated in normal, moist yet well-drained soil in direct sunlight to partial shade. Full sun yields the most flowers. Pruning soon after its spring blooming can help revitalize growth. Handles urban environments well.
