Hakea prostrata, also known as harsh hakea, is an endemic shrub species found in the southwestern region of Western Australia.

This low-lying shrub features prickly leaves and clusters of white or cream-colored flowers during late winter and early spring.

Hakea prostrata can reach a height of 1-3 m (3-10 ft) and has spreading branchlets. Its oblong-obovate leaves have prickly edges and a central vein.

This shrub produces abundant, sweetly scented flowers in its native range between July and October.

This plant is commonly found in cold, dry, and temperate regions and requires light watering.

No live plants can be sent to Tasmania, N.T, W.A or overseas.
