Acacia baileyana
Cootamundra Wattle. 5m high x 5m wide.
It is fast growing establishing in 2 to 4 years but short lived, 10 to 15 years and self sows readily and is commonly regarded as a weed so it is best not to plant it near areas of natural bush land to prevent it from establishing feral populations, but in urban areas it makes a magnificent small street tree.
Used as a filler with fresh flowers because of its beautiful grey feathery foliage.
Bright yellow flowers form in winter and sometimes so prolific that it hides the foliage.
