Eremophila weldii, a shrub endemic to Australia, is a member of the figwort family, Scrophulariaceae.

Its glabrous green leaves, small sepals, and purple or lilac-colored petals add elegance to any garden.

This versatile plant can thrive in arid and semi-arid areas of Western Australia and South Australia, boasting both an open, erect form and a compact, bushy one.

Its branches, ranging from yellowish-green to green with a hint of purple, lead to a delicate lilac-colored petal tube with mostly smooth lobes and a fuzzy lower petal.

This eremophila, blooming from March to December, can be found in various regions such as the Nullarbor, Eyre Peninsula, and Kangaroo Island in South Australia, as well as the Nullarbor Plain and regions in Western Australia.

It is a hardy plant, perfect for low maintenance gardens as it can grow in a variety of soils.
