Senna Artemisioides

This ornamental shrub, known as Silver Cassia due to the silver appearance of its short hair-covered leaves, is remarkably hardy and low-maintenance.

It produces attractive clusters of yellow flowers measuring around 1 cm in diameter from mid-winter to spring, attracting birds and insects.

Formerly known as Cassia artemisioides, it is commonly found in Western Australia, New South Wales, South Australian Queensland, and the Northern Territory.

It can thrive in a variety of soils, as long as they are well-drained and in a sunny location, although medium to heavy soils are preferred.

Be aware that it may not tolerate drought and frost well.
