Eucalyptus gardneri
Common name: Blue mallet, or Woacal
Eucalyptus Gardneri is a resilient and visually appealing tree that thrives in tough, infertile soils. Its small, cream colored flowers bloom from autumn to spring.
This non-native species grows into large trees and can be found at elevations of up to 3,000 feet. It has moderate salt tolerance and does well in full or partial sun.
Additionally, it is drought resistant and does not require any special drainage. Propagation is done through seeds and it belongs to the Myrtaceae family and Eucalyptus genus, specifically the species Gardneri.
