Swamp Paperbark
Normally a tree of irregular or crooked growth, 4-8m high with thick, whitish papery bark and dense crown. Some plants resemble enlarged Japanese bonsai. White or cream flower in Spring. One of the very best plants for saline soils, in some very salty situations, it is the only species which is successful. Used extensively to combat saline soils but will adapt to most other soils.
