Melaleuca incana

Melaleuca incana is a widespread member of the genus, commonly grown in general horticulture.

The species is a small to medium shrub with a weeping growth habit, reaching heights of 2 to 3 meters.

Its cream or white, bottlebrush-shaped flowers appear in spring in small spikes about 3-4 cm long.

While M. incana is native to a dry summer climate, it can adapt well to the wetter summers on Australia's east coast. Adequate watering is necessary during dry periods.
