Acacia sclerophylla boasts a modest range of height, typically between 0.2 to 2.5 metres, and a width of 3 m, with a moderately open habit.

Its golden blossoms, which grace the plant from August to October, add a touch of elegance to the stunning landscape.

This native beauty is found in southern regions of South Australia and Victoria, as well as in the Wheatbelt and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia.

Its presence also extends to the southeastern parts of South Australia, eastern regions of Victoria, and southeastern areas of New South Wales.

 

Acacia sclerophylla is a resilient and visually appealing species, commonly selected for hydroseeding along roadsides due to its adaptability to various soil types.

It requires little maintenance, is drought tolerant and frost hardy down to -7 °C
